Clinical Staff Training
Medica's Provider College offers classroom training opportunities for clinical staff throughout Medica's service area for mid-level nurses and physicians to help develop and implement Medica's disease management and quality programs. Some of these sessions are eligible for CEU and CME credits.

Walking in Their Shoes
Enhancing Authentic Practitioner-Patient Communication

Medica developed the Walking in their Shoes training programs to be used as tools for improving the quality of your patient-caregiver interactions. These programs are designed to improve communication skills across cultures and across all levels of health literacy.

Learn more about these programs, and print off all materials need to instruct classes at your worksite.

Provider Portal Development
Over the next year you will continue to see enhanced provider portal services. Medica will be implementing new business-to-business (B2B) transaction options to streamline processes between your office and ours.


Process Improvement Teams
The focus of each team is education, information sharing and improving shared processes related to accurate, timely claims payment, thereby improving cash flow for the provider and reducing rework for both organizations.
